TERMS
I provisionally book the clients required date, subject to my availability. This provisional booking will expire after a period of 7 days. A booking is not considered final until your booking form, signed terms and conditions and deposit have been returned. All deposits are non-refundable
The Booking Form is proof of verbal or electronic agreement and shall include any other terms and conditions agreed between both parties (The Client and Choice Entertainment). Any alterations must be agreed by both parties
Outstanding balances are payable in cash on the day, prior to the start of the performance (unless previously arranged). Final balances can be paid by cheque or bank transfer, but must be cleared funds 3 days prior to the event
In the event of payment of the final balance not being received once setting up is completed, Choice Entertainment are not obliged to provide sound and lighting for the event. Choice Entertainment will seek to recover costs at a later date, including additional costs of setting up and travelling time
If the event is cancelled within 28 days of the function, the client is liable to pay 50% of the outstanding balance to Choice Entertainment. If the event is cancelled within 7 days of the function, the client is liable to pay the full remaining balance to Choice Entertainment
In the unlikely event of Choice Entertainment having to cancel due to sickness or unforeseen circumstances, any fees paid to us by the client shall be refunded in full. (This will be the full extent of Choice Entertainments liability) or in such circumstances, an alternative reputable disco entertainment company will be provided, although for your peace of mind, this has never happened
In the unlikely event that my equipment should totally fail (excluding circumstances beyond my control i.e. a power cut) a pro rata refund will be given for the time remaining. Back up equipment is always carried
Should Choice Entertainment be temporarily rejected upon arrival at the venue due to circumstances not involving Choice Entertainment, the full remaining fee is still to be paid prior to the start of the performance, regardless of the start time
Should there be a power failure upon the arrival of Choice Entertainment at the venue, 50% of the remaining fee is to be paid. Should a power failure occur at any point after the performance has started, Choice Entertainment are not obliged to provide any refunds
Should additional entertainment time be required, overtime is charged at £75 per extra hour performed. This must be paid either in full, prior to the commencement of overtime, or on an hourly basis. If payment for overtime is not received, Choice Entertainment are not obliged to provide any further sound and lighting performance (unless previously arranged)
I require access to the function room normally 2 hours prior to the start time to set up and co ordinate sound and lighting and 1 hour minimum to pack up and vacate the venue
I reserve the right to cancel my services should I discover that the venue is unsuitable or dangerous. In these circumstances, no refund will be made. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the venue is equipped with at least 2 working standard sockets
If at any time, before or during the event, I deem myself or my property to be under threat, I reserve the right to terminate my services without further notice. In these circumstances, no refund will be made
Choice Entertainment may use photographic or recording equipment at your function. Video or images may be used at a later time for promotional purposes
Occasionally I may use haze/dry ice/scented smoke or strobe lighting as part of my show. If you believe any of your guests may be affected by these effects, please advise me accordingly. It is the venues responsibility to inform the wedding client if there is any dry ice/smoke or haze machine restrictions. Please confirm this with the venue before booking any of these effects
I carry Public Liability Insurance and Portable Appliance Testing certificates. Proof of these documents can be seen on my PLI and PAT page and are available upon request
